Chrisean Rock Updates Blueface Cheek Tattoo
American rapper and reality television personality Chrisean Rock has refreshed the large portrait of rapper Blueface tattooed on her cheek, bringing the artwork back into the spotlight.
The updated portrait now includes several facial tattoos Blueface acquired while incarcerated, making the image more closely resemble his current appearance. Tattoo artist Nihat Uzuntepe shared photos and videos of the refreshed design on Instagram on October 13, 2026.
The change has attracted attention because Rock had previously begun removing the prominent portrait through laser treatments during a period when the pair were apart.
The New Tattoo Reflects Blueface’s Current Look
The refreshed artwork retains Blueface’s face while incorporating some of the newer designs he added during his time in jail.
Reports identified details resembling the Louis Vuitton, Chase and MLB logos among the facial tattoos incorporated into the updated portrait. The changes give the existing tattoo a different appearance without replacing it with an entirely new image.
The tattoo artist’s social media post showed the work after the update, prompting reactions from fans who had followed the story of the original tattoo and its attempted removal.
For Chrisean, the update marks another unexpected turn in a tattoo story that has repeatedly drawn public attention.
From Tattoo Removal to a Fresh Update
Rock first made headlines in January 2024 when she revealed Blueface’s large portrait on her cheek. The tattoo became a major talking point online because of its size and prominent placement on her face.
However, the situation changed during their separation. In December 2025, reports showed Rock beginning laser treatments to fade the portrait, leading many observers to believe she wanted to move away from the permanent tribute.
The latest update reverses that direction, with the portrait receiving fresh work rather than continuing to fade.
The decision has renewed discussion about the couple’s relationship and the meaning of permanent tattoos dedicated to romantic partners. However, the reasons behind Rock’s decision should not be assumed without a direct explanation from her.
Tattoo Update Comes Amid Relationship Reunion Reports
The refreshed portrait comes amid reports that the pair have rekindled their relationship.
According to entertainment reports, Blueface proposed to Rock at Problem Lounge in Scottsdale, Arizona, on October 11. Reports also said Blueface later tattooed Rock’s name in large cursive lettering across his upper back.
The reported engagement and matching tattoo gestures have placed the pair back in the entertainment headlines.
Their relationship has attracted public interest for years, with periods of reconciliation and separation often playing out on social media. They also share a son.
Although the engagement reports have added context to the timing of the tattoo update, a tattoo alone cannot establish the long-term status of a relationship. The pair have not announced a wedding date in the reports cited here.
Chrisean Rock’s Tattoo Sparks Fresh Online Debate
The updated portrait has reopened conversations among fans about Rock’s decision to remove and then refresh the same tattoo.
Some online reactions have focused on the unexpected reversal, while others have commented on the appearance of the new artwork. The response reflects the public interest surrounding the pair’s relationship and their highly visible tattoos.
For now, the main development is clear: Chrisean Rock has refreshed Blueface’s portrait on her cheek, incorporating newer details that reflect his current look.
Whether the latest tattoo signals a lasting change in their relationship remains to be seen. For the moment, the updated artwork has brought the pair’s personal lives back into the entertainment conversation.
